Technical and preference data
- IP address is processed temporarily in memory for rate limiting. Security logs use a keyed fingerprint instead of the raw IP address and include request ID, method, path, status and error type.
- The web server may record IP address, requested path, timestamp, response status, referrer and browser user agent in access or error logs.
- Language preference, pop-up visibility choice and contact-button display preference are stored in your browser.
Information you choose to send through WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or email is also processed to answer your request.
BGG does not request online payment card data, resident registration numbers, passport copies, medical records or detailed diagnoses through this website. Please do not enter them in free-text fields.
3. Why we process personal information
- To receive, review and manage appointment requests and prevent double booking.
- To communicate appointment approval, rejection, changes and related support.
- To receive inquiries, provide replies and maintain the conversation history.
- To protect the service, diagnose failures, enforce rate limits and prevent abuse.
- To remember user-interface preferences selected on the device.
4. Legal basis and your choices
BGG processes information you submit to take steps you request, provide the appointment and inquiry services, manage security, and comply with applicable law. The appointment form asks for agreement to this policy before submission.
Optional fields may be left blank. If required information is not provided, BGG cannot receive or process the appointment or inquiry. You may withdraw consent or object to further processing by contacting BGG, subject to information that must be retained by law or for unresolved claims.
5. Sharing with clinics and other recipients
BGG may provide the appointment details needed to review and fulfill your request to the partner clinic you selected. The recipient is the clinic shown in your appointment request; its purpose is appointment review, scheduling and related customer support. The clinic must handle the information under its own legal obligations and privacy practices.
BGG may also disclose information when required by law, a court or a competent authority, or when reasonably necessary to protect a person from serious harm. BGG does not sell personal information.
6. Service providers and external services
- Email delivery: when configured, BGG uses an SMTP email provider to send internal appointment notices and customer replies or appointment decisions. The provider processes recipient addresses and message content on BGG’s behalf.
- Google Maps and Places: clinic pages may load Google services to display maps, ratings and reviews. Google may receive technical data such as IP address, browser information and the page requested under the Google Privacy Policy.
- Meta Pixel: BGG public pages use Meta Pixel to measure page visits and advertising performance. Meta may receive technical and usage information such as the page visited, IP address, browser or device information, and identifiers stored by Meta.
- Weather, exchange rates, and Korea hot issues: site pages may show a compact Seoul weather chip in the header, and the Weather travel-service page may load a detailed Seoul forecast through BGG or Open-Meteo. The home page may load Korea news headlines through BGG, or from Bing News RSS and Google News RSS. The Currency Exchange travel-service page may load KRW rates through BGG or a public currency-rate service. Headline text may be machine-translated for the selected language, and news thumbnails may be loaded from Bing. Those providers may receive technical data such as IP address, browser information and the page requested.
- WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook: these are external links. If you open them or send a message, Meta and the selected service process information under their own privacy policies.
BGG does not intentionally send appointment form contents to Google or Meta. External providers may process information outside Korea depending on their infrastructure. Where a cross-border transfer by BGG requires notice or consent, BGG will provide the required details before that transfer.
7. Retention and deletion
- Appointment, inquiry, reply and email-delivery records are currently retained in the active system until an authorized administrator deletes them after the service purpose is complete or a valid deletion request is accepted. The system does not yet apply automatic fixed-period deletion.
- Raw IP addresses used for rate limiting remain in process memory only for the applicable window, currently no more than 60 seconds. Web-server logs, security fingerprints and request metadata remain according to the server log-rotation settings.
- Messages and notices sent by email remain in the relevant mailboxes until deleted under BGG’s mailbox-management practices.
Information may be retained longer where required by law or necessary for an unresolved dispute. When a record is deleted, BGG removes it from the active database and associated storage under its control. Residual copies may remain in protected backups until those backups are rotated or securely destroyed.
8. Cookies and browser storage
- The preferred-language cookie lasts up to one year.
- A “do not show today” pop-up cookie expires at the end of that day.
- The contact-button display preference remains in local storage until you clear browser data.
BGG public pages use Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and may allow Meta to read or set identifiers in your browser. You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser, but language and display preferences may no longer be remembered and some measurement features may not work.
9. Security measures
BGG uses measures appropriate to the service, including restricted administrator access, protected authentication cookies, HTTPS in production, input and upload validation, rate limiting, database access controls, and logs designed not to contain raw request bodies, passwords or full customer details. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Your rights
You may ask BGG to confirm whether it holds your personal information and request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing or withdrawal of consent. Contact BGG using the email or phone number above. BGG may verify your identity before acting and may limit a request where applicable law permits or requires it.
This service is not directed to children under 14. A parent or legal guardian should contact BGG before submitting personal information for a child under 14.
11. Questions, complaints and policy changes
Send privacy questions or complaints to beautyglowgoddess@gmail.com. You may also seek assistance through Korea’s Personal Information Protection Commission or Privacy Portal. BGG will post policy changes on this page and update the effective date. Material changes affecting your rights will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
